I have taught thousands of students for the past 20 plus years. Although a majority of my students are teenagers, I have also taught children and mature adults ranging from the ages of 5 to 65. Most of my teaching has been private one on one lessons. However I have also taught classes at various schools in my teaching career; The American Institute of Technology in Vienna, Austria (Rock Department head) for 2 years, GIT/Musicians Institute in Hollywood California (Open Counseling), and Music Tech in Minneapolis (renamed McNally Smith).
I currently teach private instruction thru two Music Go Round's. (Woodbury and Highland Park/ St Paul) I have been teaching private lessons there since 1996.
I teach all styles, however I do best with teenagers learning to play all styles of Rock Guitar. If you are interested in Jazz, Folk, Classical or Finger style, I recommend a more qualified instructor. (even though I play all those styles)
I specialize in Advanced Rock Techniques such as Alternate Picking, Legato Technique, Hybrid picking, scales etc. Check out my demo lessons from my instructional DVD "ShredOMania" on the chopsfromhell site .

I accept students at the either Music Go Round in Highland Park or Woodbury.

Here are my current lesson policies:
Rates are $20 per lesson. ($22 at Woodbury) Cash is the only form of payment I accept. (Online payment with a debit or credit card thru Paypal is accepted.)
Lessons are 25-30 minutes. (at the scheduled lesson time)
Payment is for 4 lessons paid in advance. ($80)
Payment for lessons is due on the last paid lesson.
Lessons are charged even if a student is absent. Please choose a lesson time that you can make every week.
No make up lessons are available.
There is NO CHARGE for lessons when the store is closed or the instructor is out.
No shows after 15 min. are considered absent.
Students must be 10 years of age or older.
Daddies Daycare! During the daytime I watch my 3 children!
